18th consecutive international Printmaking IN “The Sky is Falling” Festival will go down on 10th – 16th of August 2015 in Pärnu, the summer capital of Estonia! “10 NOUVEAUX COMMANDEMENTS”
Anonymous Boh propose de tout recommencer depuis le début, en imaginant “10 nouveaux Commandements » – 10 règles de survie à suivre dans monde contemporain. De nos jours, les problèmes de l’homme semblent étroitement liés à ce “manuel d’utilisation” vieux de 2000 ans dont les bienfaits s’avèrent être révolus depuis longtemps. En pastichant les commandements bibliques, cette symbolique s’adresse directement à l’œil de l’illettré. Au final, l’artiste garantit à 100% que cette nouvelle formule du bonheur fonctionne indéniablement si ces nouvelles règles sont suivies avec rigueur !

Anonymous Boh võtab ette ja algab algusest, tulles välja uue 10 käsuga (Kaasaegsed Ellujäämise Reeglid). Tänapäeva kaasasegse inimese probleemid on seotud suuresti sellega, et tegutsemisjuhised on 2000 aastat vanad ja “parim enne” ammu möödas. Piibli eeskujul saadab käske visualiseering kirjaoskamatutele, igal juhul annab kunstnik kaasa 100% garantii, et õnne valem töötab, kui käske eranditult ja vastuvaidlematult järgida.

Anonymous Boh starts from the beginning, by coming out with New 10 Commandments – Contemporary Surviving Rules. Nowadays the problems of contemporary human being are mainly connected with 2000 years old operating instructions which best before is long gone. Along the example of Bible, the visualization is sent to illiterated. After all the artist gives 100 % quarantine that the formula of happiness works if to follow the rules without exception and incontrovertibly.

By obtaining its reputation as an alternative, Boh, has swooped onto the global art landscape without looking back. Performances, art tours organized in tens of cities across Europe, Asia and America have turned the notoriously alternative Non Grata into a creative collective who are much better known elsewhere than in Estonia. Their experience is not a subject much talked about, although artistic activity transcending boundaries of art and countries is today’s artist’s most desirable self-realization.
Estonian Anonymous Boh (Al Paldrok) has been active from 1992 on a frameless territory where an art object has seized to exist as a physical piece. The space has many dimensions upon which the activity has been built. Running the performance group Non Grata actually means creating a certain kind of school, Art of The Invisibles, which can be characterized by features as structured chaos, performances in arbitrary environments and interiors.

“Led by Al Paldrok, whose pseudonym in the group is Anonymous Boh, Non Grata began in 1998, just four years after Estonia gained its independence from the Soviet Union. Taking its name from the phrase persona non grata, meaning “an unwelcome person,” the group first started as an alternative art academy called Academia Non Grata. Now they travel the world practicing performance art with a revolving set of members that has, over the years, totaled up to five hundred different individuals.
“Academia Non Grata was created for one purpose, [to be] a counterbalance to the bend-over attitude of the art world, which was dominated by the Yankee-style capitalism in our society,” said Paldrok. “Artists have become either the ones who satisfy society’s certain aesthetic needs, small-scale entrepreneurs producing pretty things, or society’s fools, officially labelled as the opponent.”

Peeter Allik (s. 1966), maalikunstnik ja graafik, eksponeerib Tallinna Kunstihoone Galerii aasta esimese näitusena oma suureformaadilisi linoollõikeid ajavahemikust 2006-2014. OtseAllikast tulev näitusekirjeldus on – ütleme heatahtlikult – õige aga mitte õiglane: „Näitusel näeb hulganisti seinale pandud kauneid pilte. Kõik on linoleumist (vanaaegne põrandakattematerjal ) välja uuristatud ja siis trükitud paberi peale. See ei ole mitte lihtsalt kunst vaid suisa suur kunst. Ütleksin isegi, et ehk ei tohikski sellist värki avalikult näidata, kuid mis teha. Nii see elu kord juba on, et näitan. Näitus on väga huvitav. Kui astud sisse esimesse saali ja vaatad vasakule – näed seal pilte, kui paremale, on kah pildid. Otse – samuti üks hiigelsuur pilt. Kui minna tagumisse saali, lööb kohe pildi ette ja vaata kus tahad – kõikjal on pildid“. Ülaloleva õiglusele pretendeeriv tõlgendus oleks: Alliku traditsioone vaagivad ja neid tänapäevaga ühendavad töömahukad teosed kõnelevad Lõuna-Eesti mahlakais murretes, neis on tunda kursikate, nongratalaste, viljandi- ja tartukandi kodukootud filosoofiat, millel pole luksust ei unustada ega mööda vaadata, neis loovad ja lehvitavad nii Ida-Euroopa lähiminevik kui saksa kultuuriõied, mille enamus kaasaegseist on vaiba alla pühkinud. Allik, sarnaselt Toomas Kuusingule ja Priit Pärnale mäletab ja mõistab nagu rahvas, mitte nagu koorekiht, tema kunst on „loetav,“ sest selle koodid pole salastatud ega ilu idealiseeritud. Kõrge ja madala vahel vahet tegemata liiguvad Alliku hästi tehtud kolepildid eikellegimaal, kus on üllatavalt palju elujõulisi, staatuse laubamärgita elanikke. Märksõnad ja iseloomustused, mida tähelepanelik kunstnik meelsasti ja positiivses võtmes kasutab on: „ Saksa 19.sajandi puulõige kui massikultuuri algus, dada, uusasjalikkus, pop, camp, libadokumentalism ja libarealism, sotsiaalpornograafia, puhas kitš, erinevate asjade vastandamine ja kontrast, sest plussist ja miinusest tekib elekter … Püüan kujutada võimalikult inimlikku inimest, paraku on ta kurb ja nukker ja sõtkutud … Olen vältinud „oma teed“ ja hoidnud elusana „elutervet uudishimu,“ et suuta kasutada kunsti materjalina kõike, mida kasutada annab … Nali ja tõsidus, kurbus ja vägivald ja ilu koos ühes teoses – see ongi hea kunst“.*

Painter and printmaker Peeter Allik will exhibit in Tallinn Art Hall his large format lino-cut pictures from 2006-2014.
“It is right, but it’s not fair! Everything is cut out from linoleum. This is not just art, this is big art! Frankly speaking, it should be illegal to exhibit this kind of stuff publicly. There will be lot of pictures! You enter the room, you see pictures on your right, and on your left, and surprise surprise, in front there will also be one big picture!”
